Review by John Baker of www.britflicks.co.uk

"Not knowing what to expect from unknown director Jon Croker, and a budget of just £650, I sat down with my wife and three teenage boys to watch The Best Man. One thing that's good about watching a movie with other people is you can get an instant reaction of how other people view it straight away, and the reaction from all of us was very good!...It held us from beginning to end.

Danny Swanson gave a great performance as the under achieving almost pathetic best man, as did John Alastair playing the successful good-looking cock sure groom, and "The Ashtray" Lou Wallace, plays the part of the old school misfit well. As for the director, well any director who can put together a feature of this quality on a budget of just £650 must have a future."
