Rob Wallace

Sound Editor & Designer, Songwriter

Rob began collecting synthesisers and composing music at the age of sixteen. He was on the first ever UK Music Technology course at Newcastle College and went on to work in advertising studios and recording studios both as an engineer and bass/keyboard player. From 1995 to 2000 he ran the UK Technical Support Dept for Alesis Musical Equipment and currently does the same for Apple Logic Pro Music software.

He has composed, recorded and performed original music for productions of The Trial, Red Noses, Romeo & Juliet, The Pit & The Pendulum (Edinburgh Fringe), Broken Journey, Grimm Tales and A Midsummer Night's Dream, to name but a few. He has also been Musical Director for productions of Cabaret, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Jesus Christ Superstar and Jeff Wayne's musical version of The War Of The Worlds.

Rob has been known to tread the boards occasionally and appeared as a mad doctor in Glyn Maxwell's first ever production - The Birthday Ball Of Zelda Nein.
