Jon is the Researcher at Apocalypso Pictures where he assists the director Pawel Pawlikowski and producer Tanya Seghatchian. He is shooting the behind-the-scenes documentary on their current film, The Restraint of Beasts. Before this he was Mike Newell's Assistant on Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire and a Production Runner on Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban. He has also worked as a Reader at Heyday Films and Casting Assistant on My Summer of Love.

The Best Man is Jon's first feature film but he has been writing and directing his own shorts since 2001. Jon started his career in the theatre and has directed numerous plays in Cambridge and at the Edinburgh Fringe, including the original stage play of The Best Man.
